I've been getting reminded that I don't know that much about football, and the title to this blog reflects that! It makes total sense to have hand warmers as part of the uniform. I remember PE and how much it hurt to grab/touch/drop the ball while my fingies were cold. If millions of dollars were on the line, that would be a stupid weakness to allow.
